Working for a US client has many many disadvantages - the main being you are an Indian and India has umpteen number of holidays - and you don't get to enjoy most of them :(
Sometimes, its soooo bad - we come to the office, switch on the lights ourselves and get to work :-| Everybody else has an off - they follow the Indian calender.
Understand my plight, when we have to work on Independence Day, Gandhi Jayanthi and Republic Day too :(

I know the feeling..used to work at XYZ bpo, in HR[recruitments] and worked like a slave.. was there literally 24/7 thru the year... everyone who worked there knew me, and evn now there are ppl i come across randomly who ask me if i worked at xyz.... :D

i have this mood swings Sindhu, i am not perfect, i need a lot of repair, tinkering a complete overhaul, total servicing, all my nuts and bolts are rattling. i am rude and arrogant. On my bad day a pilgrimage to your page would work as some kind of therapy, very soothing. do you have music on your page ?
hokkay, these guys pay you well sindhu, but they take your personality away. You would become a machine. You don't relise it now because you have iPods and iPhones and all the other luxuries others can't afford.
You have to make an effort to keep yourself sane. i accuse your generation (my niece and nephew )of very poor knowledge and very poor taste in music art and literature

india is a land of extremes and a land of holidays, too many of them, thats cool. Why do we have to compete and be like the Americans ? india is a bullock cart. i am fine with that. Peep into any aashram, three fourths of them are Americans trying to become sane.
